A 16 page comic-styled book which follows a boy and his dad driving through Te Waimana gorge. This short story is a part of the School Journal Story Library series which would be read by the next generation of NZ children.

A creative process timeline which took 2-3 months ...
I started with low-fidelity sketches for each scene to help explore the composition and subject matter. Following a round of revisions, next I drew detailed outlines for each and every scene with a basic colour pass to distinguish illustration features. After the final round of revision, I was given the go ahead to turn the draft into a high-fidelity final.
